BIOGRAPHY

Bryan Rogers (b. 1977, Waterbury, CT) received an MFA from Pratt Institute, New York, NY and a BFA from Appalachian State University, Boone, NC. Recent exhibitions include M + B, Los Angeles; Huxley-Parlour, London; Kutlesa Gallery, Switzerland; Dinner Gallery, New York; and Monya Rowe Gallery, New York. His work has recently been featured in Surface Magazine (“Bryan Rogers Dreams Up Blissed-Out States of Existence»), The Wall Street Journal (“Bryan Rogers: Wallflowers’ Review: A Blooming Talent”), and profiled in Artnet (“Artist Bryan Rogers Conjures Fantastical Queer Landscapes in His New Jersey Studio»). Rogers’ work is in the public collections of the Museu Inima de Paula, Belo Horizonte, Brazil and the X Museum, Beijing, China. The artist lives and works in Hartfield, VA, and is represented by Monya Rowe Gallery, New York. This is the artist’s first collaboration with GOWEN.
